The Hunt Wind Criteria is used in assessing the wind comfort conditions around the Project. As Orbital Stack understands, the Hunt Wind Criteria is commonly used in the Taiwan region and is summarized below:

Activity Application Area Gust Speed / Wind Speed Range (m/s) Minimum Frequency
Long Time Standing Outdoor Cafe > 6 < 10%
Short Time Standing Parks/ Plazas > 9 < 10%
Walking Sidewalks > 9 > 10%
Uncomfortable - > 9 > 1%

Notes:

1.   = Gust wind speed;

2.  = Horizontal wind speed;

3.  = Root-Mean-Square (RMS) wind speed;
