How do I specify the porosity of my landscaping and mitigation objects?

For landscaping you must choose between a set of standard tree types and Orbital Stack will set an appropriate porosity, Standard Tree Types:

  • Coniferous Trees / Evergreen
  • Deciduous Trees (also includes Palm Trees)
  • Winter deciduous tree (which is almost no resistance)

You can specify the porosity and tree type in the file name of the associated STL and in the notes section of the simulation parameters, i.e. “screen_30” means a 30% porous screen (70% solid); trees_deciduous
